Brent Council seeking delivery partner for two Wembley schemes

Brent Council is looking to procure a development and construction partner for two high quality residential developments in Wembley at Ujima House and Cecil Avenue.

The council has commissions Karakusevic Carson Architects to develop the schemes.

The proposed redevelopment of Ujima House will include 54 affordable homes, a hybrid workshop unit, workspace and a café.

Cecil Avenue hopes to deliver a high-density, medium-rise mixed use development of 250 new homes, of which 39% will be affordable. The space will include community and flexible use space as well as high-quality public space and landscape infrastructure.

Brent Council is conducting the procurement using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN), where bidders can submit a selection questionnaire.

It’s estimated the development could take three years and aims to complete by May 2025.
