- Most Green Business
- Best Shop Front
- Best Business Interior
- Best Contribution to the Community
- Best Place to Eat/Drink
- Best Place to Shop
The winners will be celebrated at an event at Brent Civic Centre and promoted across Brent Council’s social media channels, as well as getting a double page spread in Your Brent magazine, which is distributed to 135,000 homes in the borough.
Cllr Sharma Tatler, from Brent Council, said: “Local businesses are the lifeblood of our high streets and much loved by the community.
“They have had a turbulent stressful and uncertain 18 months and we are committed to supporting them to bounce back from the pandemic.
“This includes our Shop Safe, Shop Local campaign, the reopening of our Back to Business grants, and our extensive programme of work in place to revitalise high streets across the borough.
“The Small Business Saturday Awards recognise independent traders that have gone above and beyond, shining a spotlight on their contributions to our borough, helping raise their profiles in the community.
“Small businesses not only help to provide local jobs and support local economic growth, but make Brent a wonderful place to live, work and visit.
“So, if your small business deserves recognition, we want to hear from you and learn about all the great work you are doing – submit your nomination today. I wish all of our businesses the very best of luck.”
Businesses can submit their nominations online. The deadline is Monday 8 November at 1pm.
