14 Apr Colart heads for Huckletree
Colart is to take 4,400 sq ft at Huckletree West in White City. The art materials company will occupy a 100-workstations customised space, together with meeting and event space in the facility in White City Place.
Andrew Lynch, Huckletree Co-Founder, said: “If we needed further evidence that mature businesses are reframing their thinking around the future workspace requirement, here it is.
“We’re excited to have such a creative and visionary brand such as Colart join our White City community, bringing a new dynamic to our 50+ digital lifestyle, foodtech and sustainable-focussed brands. Throughout all of our discussions with Dennis and the team, there was a big emphasis on finding a space that went beyond just pure function. They needed a place that would help them to feel connected after months of working remotely, facilitate safe collaboration and idea generation, and create healthy work-life divisions – which is a common story we’re hearing from mature and established brands as well as the fast-growth scale-ups. Everyone is truly in the same boat when it comes to finding a sustainable way to work.”
In the last quarter, Huckletree has seen a 131 per cent increase in members returning to their spaces, and week on week increase in demand from businesses looking for bespoke flexible space, as a result of more certainty around the UK roadmap and proactive planning.
This latest announcement follows Huckletree’s successful expansion into the WestWorks building at White City Place in 2020, where 20,000 sq ft of custom workspace has been filled with Huckletree members Butternut Box, Collective Dairy and Interior Night as part of their bespoke workspace model, Huckletree Places.
