04 May Glencar wins contract on multi-storey warehouse scheme in Brent

SEGRO and Berkeley Group has awarded the building contract for a six-storey warehouse in Brent to Glencar.

Glencar will build the 135,000 sq ft unit at St George’s Grand Union in North West London.

The development will be called SEGRO V-Park Grand Union with more than 100 parking spaces and EV charge points.

The industrial space will be arranged over four levels and can be configured as 20 individual units.

Eddie McGillycuddy, managing director at Glencar, said: “As the first multi storey logistics development of its kind to be developed in London and the UK more generally we are absolutely delighted to be appointed by St George and SEGRO to deliver this ground-breaking development.”

Construction is set to begin this summer.
