20 Sep Hammersmith BID’s free guided walking tours return

Hammersmith BID’s free guided walking tours return for the autumn, starting on Saturday 9 October marking Black History Month.

Starting from West Kensington Tube Station at 11am, those on the tour will meet a pioneer of Pan-Africanism, two successful singer-songwriters, some old and new arrivals, as well as a couple of crafty escapees. You can sign up here.

Free for all Hammersmith BID Privilege Card holders, the walks normally take place on the first Saturday of each month and take one hour, exploring the rich history and heritage of Hammersmith. Following each walk, walkers can enjoy refreshments at a local pub.

The remaining free guided walking tours take place on 6 November looking at Housing Hammersmith and 4 December for a stroll along the river.
