08 Jul Hillingdon Council to consult with residents on 2022-2026 draft strategy
Hillingdon Council is inviting residents, partners, businesses, and community groups to feed back on their draft vision and priorities for the next four years.
Councillor Ian Edwards, leader of Hillingdon Council, said: “The draft strategy builds on the successes of the council to date and sets out a vision, ambition statements for residents and the council, and various commitments to residents about what the council will do in the coming years.
“It will provide an overarching framework for council policy, business planning and performance management, and the council’s approach to strong leadership, sound financial management, and transforming how we work will sustain our high-quality services and facilities for residents.”
Hillingdon Council’s five commitments:
- Safe and strong communities
- Thriving, healthy households
- A green and sustainable borough
- A thriving economy
- A digital-enabled, modern, well-run council
Locals are invited to view the strategy and have their say before 9 September: www.hillingdon.gov.uk/council-strategy
