21 Apr Regal London plans 320-bed student accommodation for Wembley
Regal London has revealed plans for new student accommodation on Wembley High Road.
The development would rise to 15 storeys and include 320 student beds and retail space on the site of Pitman House and Fairgate House.
Regal have said their plans would include a range of benefits, including improvements to the landscape and local job opportunities.
The development would mark Regal’s first purpose built student accommodation.
Paul Eden, co-founder of Regal London, said: “We’re looking forward to brining new life to this part of Wembley with our proposals for a vibrant new home for students in close proximity to the academic centre of excellence across London.
“Our previous experiences working with Brent played a significant part in our decision making to keep building our presence in the area, as the council’s ‘can-do’ attitude and proactive approach to problem solving is a breath of fresh air.
“This is an important and exciting next step in Regal London’s growth, diversifying into a new sector with our trademark quality and design excellence.”
If the plans are approved by Brent Council then construction could begin in early 2023 with students available to move in from September 2025.
