Shell is converting a petrol station into an electric vehicle charging hub that will open in early 2022.
The hub will feature 10 high-powered 175kW charge points, capable of delivering power up to three times faster than rapid 50kW chargers.
It will also house comfortable seating areas for waiting drivers, a Costa Coffee outlet, and a Little Waitrose.
The sustainable design includes solar panels built into the roof that will generate 100% renewable energy for the site.
Shell currently offers nearly 8,000 EV charging points.
