09 Dec Amazon Fresh opens new store in Hounslow

Amazon Fresh has launched its latest checkout-free store in Hounslow, making it the second of two new offerings in London, including another branch at Aldgate East.

The latest offerings bring the total number of retailers in the UK to 12, with West London branches in Ealing, Wembley, and White City.

Amazon’s pioneering ‘Just Walk Out’ technology allows customers to pick up items in store and simply walk out with their goods, removing the need for checkouts. Customers are automatically debited for their purchases as they exit and receive a digital receipt via email.

Amazon has increased the number of retail offerings in London in recent months, with both Amazon Fresh and Amazon 4-Star locations.
